Haunted Happenings Parade Update

Parade Route

parade map

HMLS will be participating in the Haunted Happenings Grand Parade!
This year’s theme is “Our Time on Earth”. The parade will begin at Shetland Park on Thursday, October 3rd at 6:30pm. We will have a truck pulling a decorated trailer (provided by the wonderful Wandering Stage!), and all HMLS families are invited to march with us! Please be at Shetland park by no later than 5:30 if you intend to walk the route with our group. You can email hmlsptc@gmail.com to request more information as we get it. Parking is extremely limited, so we encourage carpooling, Uber, the skipper, and walking to Shetland Park. We will NOT be handing out candy, and all children MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult.
We are Division 4, spot 10 on the map of Shetland Park.
Our entry will be focused on biodiversity in our immediate natural surroundings. Our amazing art teacher, Ms Warren, has been incredible and has our kids hard at work, creating giant oak leaves and acorns, toads and dragonflies, chipmunks and skunks and many other creatures indigenous to Eastern Massachusetts. We encourage our families to costume themselves along with the theme of animals and wildlife, but that is by no means required!
